ABG Towers, Bahrain

Description: The headquarter of Al Baraka Banking Group. It comprises two office towers. It will have nine levels above ground, plus a mezzanine level, with an approximate gross floor area (GFA) of 22,221 m2, in addition to four basement levels with an approximate GFA of 16,318 m2 for 365 car parks and facilities. Key features of the building are designed by Italian architect Enrico Mari Grego. The gross development area is 38,54 0m2 for the entire project, which has 14 floors in total. The two towers are joined by a podium and ground plaza level, while the upper floors are linked by a glazed bridge at Level 7. On top of the podium, the building complex is divided into two office towers: Tower A is designed for lease and Tower B as the headquarters of the Al Baraka Group.

Description: The Haramain High-speed Railway is a major infrastructure project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, connecting the cities of Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and the developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).The design, common to all stations, features a sequence of 25-metre-high arches rising from the concourse, complemented by smaller 9-metre-high arches at platform level. Supported by freestanding structural trees, repeated on a 27 m2 grid, the arches connect to form a flexible vaulted roof.

Our Commitment: Structural detailed design for diagrid steel façade in the walls of 130m platforms and the concourse area and the entrances as well as the diamond stick system and cladding. The structural steel components and architectural cladding components have been checked for seismic load also.

Description: It will contain a 60,000 seat football stadium; At the center of the master plan will be Kingdom’s venue, VIP (Royal Box). The 3D cantilevered roof trusses and tie-downs create an efficient load-sharing structural system and the geometric foundation for the diagrid, semi-open external screens that shade the concourses, articulating a radical contemporary expression of Islamic patterns, forms and spaces. Running round the stadium is a structurally efficient ribbon of bracing and tie-down V-frames.

Description: The 62-storey tower in the heart of Riyadh is one of only three tall towers in the city and contains the first Kempinski hotel in Saudi Arabia. The tower has a glass façade, while the podium utilizes local Riyadh stone. The folded system glass canopy supported by elegant shapes of steel is at the podium entrance.
